 John A. Valentine Founder Award
Nominations Open for All FTD Florists
This award, named after FTD's founder, John A. Valentine, will be presented to a deserving individual who demonstrates outstanding achievement in the floral industry and actively engages in civic and charitable activities in their local community. Candidates should possess the following qualities:
- Pursues excellence in the floral industry.
- Demonstrates superior ethical standards of quality and service in business.
- Continues involvement in local community service.
Prize: Floral Focus with Keith White (Value: $3,000)
FTD Education Consultant Keith White AIFD spends a day in the winner’s shop assisting with merchandising or teaching floral design.

All FTD florists are invited to submit nominations, either for themselves or for a fellow FTD florist they choose. Click the link above to download the nomination form.
Nominators are urged to be as thorough as possible when completing the nominee information and to include industry references to support the nomination. Supporting materials (up to three pages) are encouraged and should be submitted with the completed nomination form.
The nomination deadline is Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
The winner will be contacted in August and will be featured in the Q4 2026 Newsletter, Mercury Messenger.
