The FTD Florists 100% Satisfaction Guarantee 

It applies on orders sent through FTD and on FTD Branded Products: 

As professional FTD Florists, we guarantee your satisfaction with every order sent through FTD for delivery in the United States and Canada and on all FTD Branded products purchased from an FTD Florist. If you are not satisfied with the purchased FTD product, we will send a replacement or refund the full purchase price. All you need to do is notify us within 10 days of receipt of your FTD order. You may call, come in person or write to us.

The FTD Florists 100% Satisfaction Guarantee provides the following benefits for FTD Florists:

  • Improves consumer confidence in FTD Florists, leading to increased sales and repeat business for your shop. Today's competitive environment demands an unconditional, hassle-free guarantee...FTD Florists deliver it.
  • Builds the value of FTD national advertising for FTD Florists.
  • Differentiates FTD from other wire services so consumers will ask for FTD.

Quality should be the main focus of FTD and FTD Florists. 
The FTDŽ Test Order Program helps ensure that all FTD Florists continue to set the standard for quality in the industry.

A Test Order Committee, established by FTD, will select florists based on complaints or chosen at random to test. FTD Florists who pass will receive a letter of congratulations. For those who fail, the following steps will be taken:

  • The first time a florist fails, they receive written notification, a $200 fine and will be re-tested
  • The second time a florist fails, they will receive written notification, a fine up to $1,000, possible suspension and re-testing
  • The third time a florist fails will result in automatic suspension

In addition, on any test order failure, the cost of the failing order will be charged back to the Filling Florist's Clearinghouse Statement, similar to a refund that would be given to a dissatisfied consumer under the FTD Satisfaction Guarantee.

The determination of pass/fail will be made by the Test Order Committee. FTD encourages all FTD Florists to honor and promote the FTD Florists' 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. The FTD Test Order Program is truly a benefit for all FTD Florists. For FTD Florists who already produce quality products, it is "business as usual", and for those who are not quite there yet, this program outlines the problems and assists in helping florists recognize their areas that need improvement. By making these improvements, these florists will pass the FTD Test Order Program, thus resulting in satisfied customers and additional business.
