Mother's Day orders will be ramping up this week as FTD and ProFlowers increase marketing spend to promote flowers as the ideal gift. Flowers are a safe, contactless way to send a personal gift, and we want to remind you that no contact delivery is required. FTD is not requiring a signature for proof of delivery and in its place ask that your drivers leave the bouquet at the front door and take a photo instead. The photo is very important as it will be the primary proof of delivery if needed. These revised delivery processes will provide confidence and trust by consumers during this health crisis.

Throughout the week of April 27, the entire FTD Spring Codified Collection will be available for consumers to select for Mother's Day delivery. Please plan accordingly for these orders when managing your fulfillment needs closer to the delivery date.

Beginning on Sunday, May 3 after cut-off, the Mother's Day florist assortment will be reduced by 40% to help you focus production during the peak order taken days. Additionally, all retails will start at $50 or higher to help you maximize profitability. Flexible delivery will also be available for florists to deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

FTD has two critical tools that can assist in planning your container and fresh flower inventory for FTD orders this Mother's Day.

• The Product Calculator will help you determine the mix of products by item by entering the total number of orders you plan to fill for FTD. The quantity of containers needed will populate by item. Hiring and training delivery drivers may be a challenge this Mother's Day. In partnership with DoorDash, FTD Delivery Service will make your deliveries for only $7.50 per order through June 30. This service is available for you to use to support your delivery operations within a seven-mile radius of your shop. DoorDash is also offering the option for a driver to pick-up five arrangements at one time making it more seamless for you.
