Last month, we shared some exciting news about how we plan to change order routing after Valentine's Day.
Keeping your Mercury on throughout the entire holiday period is one way we will measure your partnership with FTD. The information shared below is to help you prepare for your FTD orders. Updating your incoming order capacity will be very important to let us know the number of orders you can fulfill for FTD. By updating this information, it can prevent you from suspending your system. Please keep this in mind as we get into the peak period starting February 3.

Starting on Monday, February 3, FTD and ProFlowers will both begin to
limit the products available for delivery on February 13 and 14 to only the curated Valentine's Day collection, four sympathy items [EO-6059, E8-4812, C28-4893, S9-4979] and four birthday items [BD2, B05, B07 and D5-4894] to help you simplify your operations.

Valentine's Day is forecasted
to deliver 50% more orders to florists' year-over-year, starting the week of February 10. Our
top five products are planned to be 50% of the TOTAL orders we're expecting for the holiday. The items in order of the greatest volume include
V2, V1 and B59 (tied), B35 and B55.
|
Keeping the order growth projected in mind, it is critical you
purchase the containers and fresh flowers you need to this projection for the best sellers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
To help you determine how to best determine the mix of products by item you may receive from FTD, we have
created a product calculator that allows you to enter in the total # of orders you plan to fill for FTD and it will populate the count by item. If there is an item you are not planning to carry, you should select “NO” in the dropdown to remove it from the mix.

FTD wants you to feel confident about purchasing more products than prior year. We’re offering a couple of different incentives to ensure you’re ready for our holiday orders.
FTD Marketplace: Buy backs may be issued on any unopened cases of V2, V3 and V5. Let us know between February 23 - March 13 if have excess cases.
FTD Flower Exchange: Buy backs may be issued on V2, B35 and B55 bouquets if unused by February 19.
Both incentives require that you keep your Mercury system on and accepting orders during the entire holiday period starting February 3.

As consumer expectations continue to rise, real-time delivery confirmations are more important than ever. FTD is
