OFFERS FLORISTS NEW TIME-SAVING FEATURES

DOWNERS GROVE, IL. (November 16, 2005) - FTD is pleased to announce the release of Mercury Direct 4.6. This new upgraded version of Mercury Direct will provide florists with new timesaving features and enhancements in an effort to continue providing FTD Members with innovative and efficient technology tools. Thousands of FTD Florists rely on Mercury Direct each day to electronically send and receive floral orders, increasing their business and saving time. Mercury Direct continues to be FTD's most affordable send-and-receive-only option for the budget-conscious florist and brings Mercury Network access to any member with a personal computer.

The release of Mercury Direct 4.6 will offer florists the following five added upgraded features:

• Order Wizard. A wizard will guide you through the order entry process, which is a great tool for new employees.
• Mercury 2000/3000 Emulation. Set your program to mimic the function keys in your previous Mercury 2000 or 3000 program.
• Banner Ads. Advertise your business information in the online FTD Florist Directory.
• View Directory Listings. "My Listings" button in Florist Search provides an easy view of your listings in the FTD Florist Directory.
• Currency Indicator. If you are a Canadian shop, your printed orders will indicate whether the price is in US or Canadian dollars.

Other reliable benefits of Mercury Direct include:

• Send and receive orders and messages through the Mercury Network.
• Automatically store all incoming and outgoing orders and messages in an online message log.
• Search for and reply to Mercury messages through the advanced Message Search feature.
• Search FTD Florist Directory and assign statuses and add notes to individual florists.
• Search Facility Directory, which lists information for hospitals, nursing homes and funeral homes.
• Search the FTD Selections Guide, which lists FTD branded and everyday products that are available for sale, along with color photos, product codes, suggested retail prices and designer information.

In addition to these features, FTD Members will also benefit from the Norton Anti-virus software that is provided for FREE with the November 2005 - January 2006 Directory CD.
