FTD Adds Ann Jordan to Its Prestigious Education Team

DOWNERS GROVE, IL. (May 15, 2007) - FTD is pleased to announce the expansion of the FTD Education Team with the addition of Ann Jordan, AIFD, mmff. The addition of Jordan increases the already high level of expertise and knowledge that the FTD Education Team presents to florists throughout the year at association shows and FTD events.

“Our education team is the best in the industry, and I’m thrilled to expand the team ensuring every florist will receive quality workshops and seminars by a progressive thinking and creative professional like Ann Jordan,” said Larry Johnson, Executive Vice President of Member Services.

Jordan brings over 20 years of retail floral experience and design skills to the FTD Education Team. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable, she has instructed design classes and hands-on workshops throughout the United States and Canada and is very active in the floral industry. Jordan is a member of the Maine State Florists’ and Growers’ Association and the American Institute of Floral Designers and has been recognized throughout the industry for her creative skills and showmanship. Her accomplishments include:

Third place in the 2004 AIFD Holland Cup Competition

Recipient of the FTD John A. Valentine Award in 2000

Honored as the designer and member of the year in 1994 by the Maine State Florists’ and Growers’ Association.

“I am incredibly excited to join the FTD Education Team and thankful for the opportunity to provide quality workshops and seminars to my fellow florists,” said Jordan. “I believe my flair for creativity and my well-rounded background in the floral industry will be beneficial to florists, as well as the other education team members.”

The FTD Education Team is a talented group of energetic, enthusiastic and passionate floral experts whose purpose is to educate, inform and provide vision to floral industry professionals as representatives of FTD. The FTD Education Team is comprised of Jeff Corbin AAF, AIFD, PFCI; Deborah De La Flor AIFD, PFCI; Toomie Farris AAF, AIFD; John Klingel AAF, AIFD, PFCI; Ian Prosser AAF, AIFD; Tina M. Stoecker AIFD, PFCI and J. Keith White AIFD.
