  1. Can I include my shop logo?
    Yes! A Personalized touch helps your ads stand apart from others. A shop logo or unique artwork helps your ad get noticed, which increases the number of orders being sent to your shop. Please MAIL artwork you want included to Directory Services. Please DO NOT staple through, tape over or fax your logo/artwork, as this makes the artwork unusable.  You may also send your logo electronically as a PDF, EPS, TIFF or large JPEG file via email to directoryservices@ftdi.com

  2. Who will do the design work on my ad?
    The FTDŽ Graphic Arts department will do all the graphic design needed for your ads. Feel free to include examples or rough layouts for your ads, the text you want included, and any camera-ready artwork. FTD will take care of the rest. If you would like to see a proof of your ad before it is printed, please note that when sending in your ad requests.

  3. Is there a limit to the number of ads I can have?
    No! The only requirement is that you must have a corresponding listing in each town where you place an ad. Also-Served By Ads will appear after the listings of the Members actually located in that town.

  4. What if there is an error in my ad?
    The Directory Services Division strives for 100% accuracy in all Listing Ads. Unfortunately, sometimes errors do occur. It is the responsibility of Members to check their ads on a regular basis and inform FTD if an error has occurred. FTD will give a refund for the monthly cost of an ad when errors in shop name, FTD code number or telephone number occur, however, refunds will not be granted for more than the months that the ad appears in the directory.

  5. Is there a limit to the number of additional listings I can have?
    No!  You may list your shop under as many towns that you wish to service, provided that the towns/cities are listed in the current edition of the Rand McNally Commercial Atlas.

  6. What different types of Additional Listings are available?
    Also-Served-By Listings-These listings appear in Member Towns ONLY.  To be listed, you must guarantee the same service as you would for your own town.  An Also-Served-By appears directly under the Members actually located in the town.  Additional delivery charges can be listed for both.

    Non-Member Town Listings-These listings appear in towns where no FTD members are physically located.  You may list an additional delivery fee to service these listings.

    Delivery Service Listings-If there are small communities near your shop that you can service on a regular, or even limited basis, FTD will list them along with your FTD Code Number at NO CHARGE (as long as no other FTD Member purchases a listing for the same community).  A delivery truck symbol will appear to indicate an extra delivery charge to that area and an asterisk symbol (*) will indicate if service is limited.  These are shown with the closest FTD Member city which has at least one FTD Member willing to provide service.  In cases where another FTD Member city is one mile farther away or less, it will also be shown.

  7. Can I list an additional delivery amount?
    You may list additional delivery fees for all of your listings.  However, you may only list one delivery fee for the town you service.
